Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722
BuildID: 2002072208

This is an encrypted page of a bank.
After entering the agency and account numbers (both allow for the letter "X"
besides numerals), one enters the all-numeric password (either with the keyboard
or by clicking the on-screen keyboard).
After that it's possible to see the following message in the status bar:
Applet tclJava started
but Mozilla already crashed and it is not possible to close the window: only way
out is using the Task Manager.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the address given above
2. Enter a valid agency and account number plus a valid password
3.

I understand that someone has to have an account with Banco do Brasil (the
largest Brazilian bank) but maybe thre's someone.
I will also report that to the bank.

Actual Results: Mozilla freezed.

Expected Results: Continue and show a personal page.
Reporter:
Which JRE Do you use ?
Can you upgrade to JRE1.4.x if you use JRE1.3.x ?
via Mail :
I installed JRE 1.4.1 (which didn't uninstall 1.3.1 -- it had to be done manually).
After entering agency, account and password, Mozilla doesn't crash anymore: the
page is refreshed but a message appears in the refreshed page informing that the
password had a null content.
The password is captured by the Java applet (which had to be accepted anew) and
that either entering the password with the keyboard or by clicking on the
virtual keyboard the result is the same: no password is captured.
