RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 22775

I really like IE's smooth-scroll feature through a middle-button click. Mozilla
uses this very effectively to open a new tab, but if not on a link when clicked,
I'd like to have the smooth scroll option. It's tiring to have to scroll with
the keyboard or keep sliding the scroll bar handle.
X11 conventions dictate that the middle mouse button means to paste the
selection. Currently, it does that (when not on a link).

Might I suggest a mouse with a scroll wheel, or maybe Optimoz's mouse gestures?

Despite the poorly chosen title of this bug, it talks about using the middle
mouse button to smooth scroll, like clicking the scroll bar in IE does.

That is a dupe of bug 22775.
