Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020721
BuildID: 2002072104
When you open a group of bookmarks, the previous version 1.1a would close any
existing web pages, even a bunch as part of another group, and display JUST the
web pages of the group you had just selected.
With 1.1 beta, if you have a page open and select a group, the group loads in
ADDITION to the previous page(s). So if you have a group of 5 pages open, and
select another group consisting of 4 pages, you then have a total of NINE pages
open in your browser. Of course then you have to go and close the 5 pages from
the previous group. A real hassle, and not part of 1.1A.
As another mild comment, I liked the bookmarks in netscape 4.7...don't like to
have to scroll through a long list...prefer the bookmarks rolling over to
another column if they won't all fit in one column on the screen. But I will
easily get used to Mozilla and IE's current scheme.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a group of web pages, or even a single web page
2.Open a group.
3.You then have to close the pages that were open when you selected the group in
2. above.
Actual Results: You then have to go back and close the pages that were open
when you selected the group.
Expected Results: I expected ONLY the group pages to be opened. Didn't expect
to have to go back and close those pages open when I initially selected the group.
