Attached file cal-28.ics —

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0

Steps to reproduce:

Thunderbird 68.2.2 + Lightning

Add a new calendar from an online .ics source:
New Calendar > On the Network > iCalendar (ICS) + location > Name it, Finish.

Actual results:

No events were added to the Calendar.
Error in the console:

Lightning: Error Parsing ICS: 2152333568

Expected results:

Please note that I have successfully imported other ICS files from the same source, but with different content.

It just works and correctly import events in the Evolution Calendar for example.

Works fine for me using Lightning 68.2.2. No errors are reported when subscribing to the attached calendar using URL https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=9112770.
Maybe problem is related to your calendar server? Like entering wrong address, incorrect headers, incorrect certificate or something else?

Yes, this also works for me using the bugzilla URL: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=9112770

The URL I use on my server was working when testing from Firefox.

The headers from the response when in the Thunderbird console are (see attachment):

Content-Encoding: gzip
Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8

But when I injected the same request headers as Thunderbird, some errors arose, which I was able to see and fix from the Firefox console.

Thanks!

Resolving as INVALID per comment#1 and comment#2 (no bug in Lightning/Thunderbird).
