We have 3 collections that we will be writing records to for the CFR experiment.
- cfr-models
- cfr-control
- cfr-experiment
The cfr-models bucket will receive updates on an hourly basis. cfr-control and cfr-experiment will be stable for the duration of the experiment.
None of these buckets will be used by anybody outside of the experiment. We will be explicitly periodically polling the RemoteSettings server with an webextension so we would like to explicitly disable the push notifications for all 3 buckets.

My colleagues Ethan and Ben don't necessarily agree with our idea of disabling Push notifications.
It may actually be simpler for everyone to absorb the load during the time of the experiment.

Ok.
For some context - we are targeting ~1% of the en-US population and our addon explicitly calls poll() on an hourly asis on the 3 collections that we are interested in refreshing. We were concerned about incurring excessive load on the Remote Settings server.

:leplatrem do we need to decide on whether to enable or disable push notifications or we just use the default behavior?

Let's use default behavior.
We decided to limit the per-use-case configuration changes, and handle the load.
We can still change our mind if the push notification frequency becomes an issue.
