User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0
Steps to reproduce:
- press Ctrl+F to search
- type any word which has diacritical marks, but type it without
- e.g. type "forum" (real word is "fórum")
Actual results:
= word "fórum" on site is NOT found
Expected results:
= word "fórum" on site should be found - it works like that in Chrome
I found old topic about similar or same issue, it has 17 years!!
I requested the same feature for a file manager with one author, it was implemented in few days.
Please implement this feature, Ignore diacritical marks for search on site, searching on sites without this feature is not easy, I have to switch keyboard, type the word, then switch keyboard back to EN, when I forgot, I start typing with a wrong keyboard, then I have to re-type text, it's really annoying.
Thanks.
