User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0

Steps to reproduce:

General usage (mostly reddit, twitter, and youtube). This has been happening for about a week now. Restarting fixes it for a short time, but after a few hours the lagging comes back with a vengeance.

Actual results:

Very high memory usage for very few tabs/windows. Several second lags when switching tabs/windows.

Expected results:

Less memory usage when only a few tabs/windows are open and no lag when switching between said tabs/windows.

hi john, could you capture and share a performance profile while the lag during tab switching is apparent?

Sorry for the lack of reply. I reset Firefox during my own troubleshooting (I wasn't aware that was something that you could do) and the problem hasn't occurred again. Previously I had just disabled all add-ons to troubleshoot, but that didn't have any effect. When searching about the issue I cam across a reddit thread encouraging users who were having performance issues to report them here with the memory report attachment. I apologize if I messed it up. I'll do what the link says if the problem occurs again, but until then I can't really do anything. Sorry.
