With bug 1599994 the basics will be implemented and both options pageRanges and ignoreInvalidPageRanges are not obeyed. Puppeteer doesn't use those anyway. So it's not important to have them now.

We are not going to implement this API for CDP but one can use WebDriver BiDi to get this feature.
