User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:72.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/72.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch Firefox with WebRender enabled.
  2. Trigger a switch to the dedicated graphics card. This can be done by opening a page with WebGL (for example https://webglsamples.org/field/field.html), or by disabling 'Automatic graphics switching' in macOS's 'System Preferences' under 'Energy Saver'.

Actual results:

Text and other graphical elements become corrupted.

Expected results:

Text and other graphical elements should be unaffected by the switch.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

What's the build date of your Firefox build, Bram? This was supposed to be fixed by the patch in bug 1599862 which landed in Nightly a few days ago. Oh, if you're using Beta, we need to uplift the patch.

I am indeed running Beta (currently on 72.0b2, but I've had it happen on 72.0b1 too).

Thanks for confirming
