There are an increasing number of Flash ads on sites. There appears to be no way to block those ads; right-clicking on a Flash ad brings up the Flash context menu, and selecting "Block images" on an image that's served from the same server as the .swf file doesn't prevent the Flash ads from loading. www.aint-it-cool-news.com is a good example; you can block its images from loading in the usual way, but you'll still see its Flash ads (which, at the time of this writing, come from the same server as the images.) Probably a more general solution is required, but for the moment I'd be happy being able to block all <embed> content from a particular site, and if that's rolled into image blocking, it'd suffice for my purposes.
