It's not like threading gets lots of bugs, but perhaps it should have a second person attached to it. possibilities include: dougt@netscape.com scc@mozilla.org

dougt@netscape.com, scc@mozilla.org: Do either of you want to volunteer for this?

does a case of tequila come with the job? seriously, i think that the "threading" component should be killed. Either the problem is with the actual thread code (then it would be a nspr or xpcom bug) or the problem is with the code that uses threads (then the bug would be in whatever component corr. to that code). List of all threading bugs: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&component=Threading&long_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&status_whiteboard_type=allwordssubstr&status_whiteboard=&keywords_type=allwords&keywords=&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=exact&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailqa_contact2=1&emailtype2=exact&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&votes=&changedin=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&namedcmd=Browser+Bugs&newqueryname=&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=
fine by me
Summary: Browser: Threading should have a QA contact other than its owner → Remove Browser: Threading component

I moved all the bugs to XPCOM and killed the component.
