The test was done by comparing Fennec (68.2.1) and Fenix(20191119043902). For instance, the speedIndex of Fennec is 575.27 and is 656.87for Fenix, the differences are noticeable by looking at the video.

As of Feb 19, SpeedIndex looks fine. Median PSI is still behind.

Bulk edit: closing "Visual metrics: fenix is slower than fennec" bugs. There may be optimizations in fennec that we haven't applied to fenix and we can learn that by investigating bugs like these. However, given current priorities/resourcing, the challenges in executing tests against fennec, and the difficulty of directly comparing fennec and fenix (e.g. some ways of initiating page load favor fennec's single process model), it seems unlikely we'll investigate this any time soon. If we did decide to investigate this, we'd probably file a new bug anyway so closing.
