Details
I've just composed a message of about 70 lines, and I made a mistake, I need to
delete a word in a lot of lines. I tried 'find and replace', but if I put
nothing in the 'Replace with' box, the 'Replace' button is disabled. I can only
replace it with a space now.

Sounds like a dup of bug 139420, fixed almost two months ago.

Build is this: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020606
It's probably dup indeed. Did a few queries, forgot to query resolved bugs though.
