Sometimes I would like to send a link to the result of a specific query to my 
fellows. Since some resulting URL's to the query result can become very long, it 
would be nice to have a kind of a "short cut" feature for the query itself.

Proposal: There should be the possiblity to create a short cut for every query. 
Using this feature, I could send a URL like http://bugzilla/sc.chi?ID=8383838383 
instead of http://bugzilla/query_and_834_other_characters...

See bug 15809. Short of that, I don't think we want this - use copy and paste to
send queries to people, and we have named queries for personal ones.

Since some mail clients can not handle URLs like

Some mail clients are broken :) But yes, wrpaping can affect this

Theres a bug for 'global named queries' - I guess that you could just save your
query as a globally named one,and send that link out, once that is implemented.

I doubt this would be accepted even if it was written.  URL optimisation would
be a better solution.  There is also "http://www.makeashorterlink.com/".

What you are suggesting is that Bugzilla remembers your queries forever (or in the best case for some given time). If all users start sharing their queries this way, the DB size would quickly increase. Bugzilla now lets you share queries with other users, so you should use this feature instead. And if you really want a short URL to add in your email, use e.g. tinyurl.com.
