Github-sync is a bit more general variation of the same code. It's made to support both WebRender and WebGPU, landing in https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D57057
We should be safe moving WebRender to it once it's ready and removing the old wrupdater code.
There is a few follow-ups requested from the recent reviews that we'll need to address:
