RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 613785

People

(Reporter: eugenschindler, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:71.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/71.0

Steps to reproduce:

Tried 64-bit versions of 71.0 in Linux and in Windows
Steps to reproduce:

  • Go to a site that requires you to fill in a htaccess username and password
  • Try to use a password-filling plugin (e.g. a password manager plugin) to fill in the username and password

Actual results:

It is not possible to trigger the password-filling plugin, because the modal dialog prevents from pressing a button to copy/paste username/password.

Expected results:

In contrast: in Google Chrome, the htaccess dialog does not appear to be modal (i.e. when the dialog is displayed, I can still switch tabs and press buttons to retrieve information).
