Details
(Whiteboard: [mac:fullscreen] )
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:72.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/72.0
Steps to reproduce:
Moving a Firefox window to an auxiliary display, I tried entering full-screen in Netflix and Youtube.
Actual results:
The full-screen window opens on the primary display but in the resolution of the auxiliary.
Expected results:
Full-screen window should have opened on the active auxiliary display.

Context: mac connected to external screen (Thunderbolt -> VGA).
I realized now that by clicking the right button, 98% of the time the menu appears (but really small, perhaps scaled based on the resolution of the external screen) in the primary screen.
(I don't know how to upload a screenshot in this comment .. sorry, I'm new)

If Firefox is already full screen in the secondary screen, Netflix, Youtube, Vimeo (I think other services too) will go full screen correctly...

Hello. I encountered something of sort under macOS 11 with Firefox 81.0b9. Please see this attachment for the exact behavior.

Issue still reproducible using 88.0a1 (20210314213752) on macOS 10.15 and macOS 11.2.3 if full-screen-api.macos-native-full-screen:false
We can no longer reproduce the issue by flipping full-screen-api.macos-native-full-screen:true
on macOS 10.15 and macOS 11.2.3. The fullscreen window is no longer opened with the wrong resolution on the assigned display after following steps from comment 0.
