When visiting above URL I experience crashes in about one third to half of the
cases. After restart of mozilla and retry sometimes crashes again but I did not
notice more than 2 crashes in a row.
Crash appears while loading java classes in popup window. Feedback agent is
never triggered.
Experienced this problem with earlier versions too.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. visit mentioned URL with javascript and java on, allow javascript to open
popup-windows
2. sometimes crashes sometimes not
Actual Results: crash sometimes
Expected Results: java version of icq starts in popup window, each time

Most probably as a sideeffect of updating to newest Java-Version (because I did
not change other things) Mozilla got very unstable with many crashes a day on my
system (reporter). Aparantly as soon as Java is involved in more than one
window, but I am still not quite sure about that.
Sample windows-crash data:
MOZILLA verursachte einen Fehler durch eine ungültige Seite
in Modul KERNEL32.DLL bei 015f:bff87eb5.
Register:
EAX=c0030058 CS=015f EIP=bff87eb5 EFLGS=00010212

Presently I can reproducably crash Mozilla by doing the following:
1. I visit my net radio station which java-starts real-player
Address: http://www.unionradio.com.ve/audio/onda/Real_vivo.htm
2. I open a new tab (new window might "work" as well)
3. In new tab I visit the icq-page which is topic here
The interesting thing is: Mozilla crashes everytime and immediately even before
seeing the icq-page-content or the popup-window and of course before java starts
in the popup window, very confusing. I encoutered many other crashes concerning
pages with quicktime plugin since yesterday. Before on my system Mozilla was
stable like a rock.
Maybe I should file a new bug about all this but I want you to know about it
around here. Somehow it seems related.

Problem is still present in the actual 1.1 release (build 20020826/Linux). It
could be an issue for the next release notes as it appears on several other
websites using Java-plugins. In my tests, mozilla crashes on nearly *every*
website using Java-plugins

Another site casing the same crash:
http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/puzzles/index.html
After page loads, clicking on link to access teh quick crossword (and I would
guess any other crossword) causes Mozilla 1.3b to crash. Also affects Netscape 7.02

(In reply to comment #25)
> is anybody still seeing the crash?
I just tried to reproduce the bug, using Mozilla Firefox 1.5 beta 2 with a new
profile and Sun's JRE 1.5.0_04 under Windows XP SP2. I have not experienced any
crashes. However, I have seen conflicts with some extensions (Mouse Gestures in
particular, which has led to the opening of bug 308799).
