User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0

Steps to reproduce:

Use a Linux desktop computer with Gnome 3.
Enable Wayland support for Firefox (MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1).
Open any URL from Thunderbird or any software, but not from your firefox session, and be sure firefox is your default browser.

Actual results:

Firefox will instantly and systematically crash.

Expected results:

The URL should have opened in a new tab, without any crash.

Please notice that this bug is not present in firefox 68, but probably since firefox 72. Dont take care of my user-agent, I downgraded firefox.

Do you have any crash reports you could share? They appear in about:crashes.

I upgraded my firefox to 72.0.1. The bug seems to be resolved. Thanks.
Paul.
