when i middle-click with the mouse on something that isn't a link, i would like
to have a Internet Explorer-like middle-mouse button scrolling. it's just very
handy, you don't have to move the scroll bars that way, just click and move the
mouse left, right, up, or down
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. middle click anywhere in the screen, just not on links
2. nothing happens (ok, you might accidently paste the contents of the
clipboard and get an error)

have a look at Gestures from 'optimoz' for mozilla (mozdev.org->...)
there you can scroll the page by moving the mouse ... and you can do a lot of
other features with it --- but you're right with your dupe of 22775
