Steps to reproduce:
Hello, this is a feature request so not a bug. My setup is a laptop and a bluetooth speaker hat I am listening. With a Windows 10 update, the master volume is not soft (software mixer), but the slider directly communicates with the bluetooth speaker volume.
This is a common issue discussed here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/bluetooth-volume-broken-after-windows-10-1803/b966b86f-626d-4dbe-8043-5f0f2901c354?page=2
However this is a feature, and not a bug. Because of this change, windows 10 adjust the bluetooth volume only when some music is playing. The way how windows 10 determines this, is via the media player overlay https://www.tenforums.com/sound-audio/134123-windows-10-volume-bar-top-left-huge.html
Chrome has this feature, and it would be great if firefox would have. Why? Because while I am listening to music via Firefox, and i want to adjust the volume, this isnot possible since Windows 10 is thinking that nothing is playing.
I looked over the settings and there is none setting. Is this implemented?

however the expected result you can obtain by: having Spotify or the build in windows 10 player, and adjust the volume. The
