User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:71.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/71.0
Steps to reproduce:
Going to the URL of an article, and toggling on the reader view (right of URL bar or CTRL+ALT+R) does not display embedded content, such as Instagram, Twitter or YouTube content. This issue affects major websites such as The Independent.
Here are some examples of articles in which the issue is present:

Simply access one of these websites and toggle on reader view to reproduce the issue.
Actual results:
The content is usually simply not present or a generic text phrase may replace it. From memory, some websites display a thumbnail of YouTube videos instead of embedding it directly though I could not find an example of this to reproduce it.
Expected results:
In the best case scenario, the embedded content would be displayed the same way as in the original content. I understand that due to technical limitations this may not be possible, so other remediations could be to simply have a hyperlink to the original content. In the case of Twitter and Instagram content, the text and images could be scraped from the article.
Facebook containers may have to be taken into consideration if this is implemented for Instagram content.
Thank you.

This does not just affect external content like YouTube videos, but also even same-site (self-hosted) pure HTML5 videos, as in the 1st example article below in this small excerpt from bug #1847357 :
Two normal WordPress articles that are good test cases for this:
- Contains a normal HTML5 video: https://blogs.gnome.org/alatiera/2023/08/04/developing-gnome-os-systemd-sysext/
- Contains a YouTube embedded HTML5 video: https://feaneron.com/2023/02/07/profiling-optimizing-gnome-software/
