Affected versions
Nightly 74.0a1 74.0a1 (2020-01-21) (64-bit)
Beta 73.0b8 (64-bit)
Release 72.0.2 (64-bit)
Affected platforms
Windows 10 x64
Steps to reproduce
- Launch Firefox
- Log in with valid credentials to Google and save them
- Reach the password change form
- Type in the new password and submit
- Choose to Save it in the displayed doorhanger
Expected result
The Update doorhanger should be displayed for the saved Google credentials
Actual Result
The *Save prompt is displayed for the New password
A new entry is created for myacccount.google.com. (original entry is accounts.google.com)
After sign-in out, the autocomplete dropdown will show both entries with dates (as eTLD functionality for same username and a different password on different subdomains)
Regression-Range
Will look into it, doubt it is a regression
