RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1592416

People

(Reporter: matthew.sloly, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:72.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/72.0

Steps to reproduce:

Issue occurs whenever I have my 4K monitor plugged in as a second screen to my MacBook Pro 15inch and right click to see context menu. Can happen on both my MacBook's built in monitor and my secondary 4K monitor.

This occurred after doing a reset of Firefox.

Actual results:

Most commonly, when I right click for context menu, menu shows up on my main monitor, scaled very small.

If in full screen, I sometimes see no context menu at all.

I'm at the limit of my ability and time to troubleshoot. This bug makes Firefox totally unusable and thus unreliable.

Expected results:

Right click on page, image or highlighted text should bring up context menu to right of mouse pointer/courser, at proper scaling ... which happens, without such bugs in every other Mac OS app I have ever used.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.
