User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/77.0.3865.120 Safari/537.36 OPR/64.0.3417.92

Steps to reproduce:

Had several tabs open. Browser window open all night (8+ hours). Restore previous session is set to on in preferences.

Linux brittney-HP-Notebook 4.15.0-74-generic #84-Ubuntu SMP Thu Dec 19 08:06:28 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Actual results:

Woke up to find Firefox had closed. Restarted Firefox and it opened to start page https://start.ubuntu-mate.org/
No tabs were restored. Under History -> Recently closed tabs contains no info

Expected results:

Tabs from previously session should have been remembered and restored

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

think maybe has something to do with MATE panel settings
Had issue with MATE panel so i did a reset by issuing the following command at the command line:
gsettings reset-recursively org.mate.panel
the panel got reset but when i opened firefox my tabs were gone
