Not sure if this is an RFE, or a bug.
I would like to see contextual menu support for tabs like that in Mozilla.
In Mozilla 1.1b, when option-clicking in the tab-bar (or on a tab) the options:
New Tab
Reload Tab
Relaod All Tabs
Close Tab
Close Other Tabs
are all available. Similar options in Chimera would be great.

Edit: I meant control-click, not option-click.

Context menus and top level menus are where users expected to find these tab
controls in the user testing we did last week, so we should seriously consider
at least Close Tab and Close All Tabs, the two that people specifically pointed
out, in addition to New Tab I suppose.
Pink, what say you?

sure, i don't see any reason why closetab shouldn't be in the context menu. as
for new tab, i guess that makes sense too but slightly less so.

Chimera 0.8, eh? :-)
Would you still accept a patch if I wrote one? Dunno how hard it really is,
but naively thought it shouldn't be too hard (of course that doesn't mean it
won't be :-)

This is one of the few features I'm really looking forward to in Chimera....

I don't think the New command should be displayed if the user context-clicks a
tab. It gets in the way. Kinda like showing "Empty Trash" when the user
context-clicks a hard disk icon.
Context-clicking the tab bar could bring up a menu with New Tab, while
context-clicking a specific tab should contain commands relating to 1) that
particular tab and 2) all open tabs. As in, no commands relating to tabs that
don't exist yet.
Obviously the menus could have other commands, too, like Open in New Window,
which seems to be a much-requested feature.
