Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722 BuildID: 2002072204 Every now and again when I open mozilla (using quick launch) it will go to the page you get when you first install mozilla and will wipe my homepage and other details in the prefrences away and set them back to the default setting. My bookmarks are always there and so are the cookies but everything else is set to default. I have tried reinstalling mozilla a couple of times but the problem still occours, plus i have tried creating a new profile incase my old one was damaged but i still have this problem. The problem has only occured since Mozilla 1.0, I never had the problem in RC1, RC2 and 3. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Just click on the Mozilla icon. 2.Sometimes it will just load the default settings and mine will be lost. 3.
This is a known problem with Quicklaunch in 1.1beta and was mentioned in the release notes(http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla1.1b/). Upgrade to a newer nightly build(if you want stability grab a build from the 1.1branch, the trunk has reopened for 1.2 checkins and may be unstable) or turn off quicklaunch and wait for 1.1(should be due reasonably soon). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 155080 ***
