In bug 1607283 we removed the DTLS protocol telemetry probe, because it had expired. But with the landing off DTLS 1.3 in bug 1284103 it would be helpful to know how much usage 1.3 gets compared to 1.2.

There's a r+ patch which didn't land and no activity in this bug for 2 weeks.
:drno, could you have a look please?

Did you verify whether this works when the socket process is enabled?

Do we need to uplift this to Beta for Fx75?

Do we need to uplift this to Beta for Fx75?
I don't think we need to. We will learn in 76 how many sites are still using DTLS 1.0. As we don't have immediate plans to remove it soon (depends on how the pandemic plays out) I think we can simply wait.

Did you verify whether this works when the socket process is enabled?
I had not verified it.
But I do see it showing up in Nightly here about:telemetry#histograms-tab_socket
I interpret it that it's working.
