Details

there is a reproducible situation involving QuickTime and tabs. 1. launch Navigator 2. visit http://www.apple.com/trailers/columbia/tripleX/high/high.html 3. wait for the plugin to begin loading. 4. Cmd-T to open a new tab. the green preview screen will persist in your new tab, even if you load a new page in the tab.
this is a dupe
of what? i couldn't find one.
Reporter, what build were you using? You can get the Build ID from the left bottom corner of the About Navigator screen. Using 08-08 build, I was able to repro the problem, but only intermittently. Switching back and forth between the two tabs *sometimes* causes the QT movie to appear in the new tab. bnesse: Looks like this is a dupe of bug 147902 - flash site has elements that show through all tabs - which you fixed. Bug 156583 has been opened for QT frame appearing across tabs, but this bug is more similar to 147902.
No, bug 147902 is about the movie/flash *playing* in the other tab. Bug 156583 is about stray frames being drawn during the process of switching the tab, which is what this describes. duping... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 156583 ***
