User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:72.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/72.0
Steps to reproduce:
Went to https://accounts.firefox.com/signin?context=web to log in to Firefox sync, with the Lastpass extension loaded (while signed in to Lastpass.q
Actual results:
No Lastpass icon in the username and password fields. Also Lastpass does not suggest to remember the login.
Expected results:
Expected to see the Lastpass icon in the username and password fields, like on most other sites where you can log in. It looks like the Firefox sync login page is somehow suppressing Lastpass or hiding that it's a login page.
Note that even if the credentials are entered into Lastpass manually, it's still not possible to log in to Firefox sync using Lastpass.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

hi, i think that's by design. webextensions are restricted from running on a few sensitive websites, including the firefox accounts signup page (see bug 1415644 for background).
Thanks, that makes sense, despite being a real PITA :-(
Seems FF sync might not be the ideal workaround for the problem we're facing (Firefox profiles combined with folder redirection in Windows). Will make a separate bugreport on that soon.

Marking as duplicate instead of WONTFIX, to more clearly communicate the intent to support password managers in FxA if feasible.
