Details

My tooltips in Windows XP are defined with a dark blue background with white text. The Mozilla web browser 1.1b displays all its tooltips (for toolbar buttons as well as HTML objects like images) with a white background, which combined with my defined white text for tooltips renders a blank white rectangle (invisible text). Tooltips in Mozilla should follow the Windows color scheme as defined. To reproduce the problem, on XP, right click on the Windows desktop and select Properties. On the Display Properties dialog, select the Appearance tab and click on the Advanced button. On the Advanced Appearance tab, select the ToolTip item from the combo box and define any dark color for the background and choose white color for the text (I have Font set to Tahoma). Click OK and OK to close both dialogs and apply the changes. Roll the mouse over any toolbar button on Mozilla to display a tooltip.
