Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:74.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/74.0
Steps to reproduce:
It'd be nice to get support for using the touch-id fingerprint scanner built into several mac laptops, along with the T2 chip's secure enclave on the road-map for webauthn support. Especially given the efforts to support windows hello.

Implementing a U2F token for the fingerprint reader is discussed in Bug 1536482 - we have most of the pieces, it just needs ... a lot ... of plumbing.
