The debugging/error logging that osclientcerts provides could be improved. For example, in bug 1617000 we don't have enough output to tell us what's wrong. Also in that bug, it's easy to get way more output than is useful (this mostly happens during TLS server certificate verification, which the module doesn't have anything to contribute - it would be nice to find a way to filter out unrelated searches).
