Go to the cited page (http://www.nbc.com/), from the "NBC Shows" column, pick 6 you like and Ctl+Click to open into new tabs. Now, try to shift from tab to tab. I observe: the title bar changes fine, however the main display remains unchanged. About all I can get Mozilla to do is (Ctl+Q) Quit. Happily, it ususally responds - although once I had to kill from Win. TaskManager. Hypothesis: the fancy multi-colored ribon with floating shadow-pictures over it - I can't tell what it is, probably Flash -- is keeping the system so darn busy it can't update the display. If so, would it be possible to put threads handling plugins/fancy rendering at a lower priority than the GUI?
Excessive CPU usage with flash is a duplicate of bug 132759. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 132759 ***
