User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:73.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/73.0
Steps to reproduce:
I downloaded the Firefox Container extension, and it's exactly what's necessary for me for Facebook. I briefly thought there should be one for Google as well, but I realized Multi-Account containers should have a mode that works this way.
Currently, there are two issues:
- Multi-Account Containers cannot accept a list of domains that should always be run in the container.
- Links not in that list cannot automatically run outside the container.
There should be a mode that accepts a list of domains that will automatically open in that container (and any subdomain should automatically do the same, so if I add google.com, photos.google.com will also open in that container). Any link not in that list should open outside the container, even if the link is clicked inside it.
Actual results:
As above.
Expected results:
As above.

It appears there's an add-on that does basically the same thing. I too would love to see this as base functionality.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

This doesn't belong in the webextensions product, it looks like Core:Security is where other general containers bugs go...
