Steps to reproduce:
- Firefox 75.0b2
- Ubuntu 19.10
- Sway 1.4 / wlroots 0.10
- Enable VAAPI on settings (widget.wayland-dmabuf-vaapi.enabled)
- Navigate to https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-hampshire-51729602/how-cruise-ships-contribute-to-southampton-s-air-pollution

See video below. Had to record using my phone as screen recording wouldn't pick it up reliably.

Didn't specify above for some reason. Flickering occurs when showing and hiding video player controls during playback.

It does look similar, but the effect is different. Video distortion appears underneath the transparent layer where video controls live, but not over on this example. But yeah.
vaapi support looking good though 👍

(KDE, Debian Testing, Macbook Pro, Intel Iris 6100 (Broadwell GT3))
I see it as well and it looks the same as bug 1619882.
