Details

(Whiteboard: [passwords:fill-ui])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:74.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/74.0

Steps to reproduce:

Since version 72, more or left, this happens to me. When I install a fresh Ubuntu 18.04, it comes with Firefox 59, and it doesn't have this issue.
In a form, I write the username perfectly, when I clicked in the password-box (a textbox with asterisks), the writing and the scrolling of the webpage become slow, and characters (asterisks) begin to get selected by themselves and the cursor, doesn't show.

Actual results:

I have to write the password so fast, if not, password is written incorrectly.

Expected results:

I should write the password as the username, without any trouble.

What I do is write the password in a text editor, then copy and paste in the password-box. That's the way I have write password in the web. I have lookfor in the web and found nothing.

It seems, but I don't think it is the same issue.

Hello, does this sound the same as bug 1451466 by any chance?

It seems, but I don't think it is the same issue.

I am asking why Mozilla just solve this and I update to the next version. Because there are somethings I don't understand or don't know what to do, like this:
