Users who are not already familiar with existing tests and what they are testing are not easily able to interpret alerts and test results in Perfherder. Add descriptions to all views. This could be accomplished in a variety of ways:

  1. add links to wiki or source docs for each test in all views
  2. add a detailed view to each alert describing what the test does

may be blocked by an existing bug or issue to improve perf test documentation

Hi. Since we are already linking everywhere in Perfherder the documentation do you think this bug is still needed? If it is still needed, could you please update the bug with what is missing from Perfherder?

This is still relevant for the PerfCompare project, but we don't currently have a component for that. I will move it to Testing::Performance
