Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; FreeBSD amd64; rv:74.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/74.0

Steps to reproduce:

I have recently installed FreeBSD 12.1-RELEASE on two different laptops recently, and in both cases neither checkboxes (such as on web pages) nor radio buttons (such as in Firefox's download dialogue box) are displayed. I have a desktop which dual boots Windows 10 and Gentoo Linux, and I have not experienced this issue with either the Windows or Linux versions. This occurred on fresh installs of the OS and Firefox with no preexisting profile. No Mozilla account is connected. The only extension installed was Lastpass, and I made sure to disable it to ensure that it was not causing the issue, but the issue persisted.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

Product: Firefox → WebExtensions

Not sure exactly where this should go, FreeBSD isn't a tier 1 platform but gtk backend seems like a good place to start.

Component: Untriaged → Widget: Gtk
Product: WebExtensions → Core

I can confirm missing radio buttons in the save file dialogue after upgrading to Firefox 74.0 from 73.0 on FreeBSD 11.3-STABLE. The choice between open and save however works, just the buttons are missing.

I should add that I run the kde5/plasma desktop.

I reported this in the FreeBSD bugtracker: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=244970

There is an issue with the Breeze theme for GTK that will be fixed in FreeBSD ports.

If the submitter also uses KDE5/Plasma, I think this bug can be closed.

(In reply to Bengt Ahlgren from comment #5)
Yes. My DE is KDE/Plasma 5.

Seems to be solved at BSD side:

Thanks.
