162524 - Delete key not initially bound for deleting current message

This will be better explained in the steps to reproduce, but here's a quick
summary:  When viewing a mail message in its own window, my understanding is
that the delete key should be bound to delete the current message when the
window is loaded, but it is not initially bound as such.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. With Mozilla Mail open (doesn't have to be freshly started), open message in
its own window.
2. In the message's window, press the <Delete> key. - Nothing happens.  The
message is not deleted.

-- Steps 3-4 describe a workaround --
3. Open, then close the Edit menu from the menu bar.
4. Now, press <Delete> again.  This time the message will be deleted.

Actual Results:  Steps 1-2 - The message was not deleted.

Steps 3-4 (Workaround) - The message is successfully deleted.

Expected Results:  Steps 1-2 - The message should be deleted

Steps 3-4 (workaround) - N/A.  Things work ok here.

NOTE:  It is possible I may be misunderstanding things and that the <Delete> key
is not supposed to be bound except when the Edit menu is open.  If that is the
case, this bug is the opposite of what I describe here - it would be that the
delete key is not unbound when the Edit menu is closed.

to work around it, set cache pref to for instance "When the page is out of date"
