Steps to reproduce:

To reproduce, click on a password input field type.

I am using Ubuntu 18.04.

Actual results:

On current release and nightly build(76) when I click on a password input type (only password type not text field) it flicks in and out of focus repeatedly making it difficult to either autofill or type in password

Expected results:

It should not repeatly blur and then focus.

This sounds like bug 1451466. Are your system packages up-to-date? What version of Ubuntu are you on?

Yes this exactly is what it was. Thank you all fixed - the gnome desktop package needed to be updated.
