This happens when there is a menu overlapping another action button behind (for instance in contacts.google.com if the viewport is big enough for the menu not to overlap the contacts list, this issue won't happen)
[Steps to reproduce]
1- Visit https://contacts.google.com
2- Open RDM
3- Click the menu button (at the left)
4- Touch simulation OFF; click any of the options from the menu.
5- Activate touch simulation and click the menu button again
6- click the first option for example
[Expected result]
clicking should work the same way touch simulation on/off
[Actual result]
two clicks are performed while having touch simulation activated

I don't understand the cause here, but I note that this is fixed by the patches for Bug 1556556.
