User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:74.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/74.0

Steps to reproduce:

Enable gfx.webrender.all on Linux also enable "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order"
Restart firefox
Press Ctrl+Tab multiple times

Actual results:

When I do this the first time after starting Firefox the tab preview is highlighted correctly but takes a lot of time to move from one preview to the other.
Second and consecutive times I do this the highlight is offset by one from the correct preview: I hold Ctrl and press Tab three times I expect the fourth preview to be highlighted, but the third preview is highlighted. When I release Ctrl the focus goes to the forth tab(which is correct because I pressed Tab three times), but the preview highlight was wrong.
For me this happens every time while gfx.webrender.all is enabled. This has been happening to me for many versions, but I just now figured what setting was causing it.
OS is Manjaro with KDE fully updated.
Currently I have disabled gfx.webrender.all so it's missing from the modifiedPreferences in the attached file, but everything else is the same.
I see that my GPU is not qualified for web render, but I have been using Firefox more than year with it enabled and I had no crashes or any problems during this time except for this one.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

Hm, strangely I'm not able to repro on Linux (Solus/Gnome/Budgie) with Nightly. Could you check the Nightly?

I downloaded the nightly and tried with a fresh profile just changing the two options and the result is the same. I am attaching the support page for this profile.

Because this bug's Severity has not been changed from the default since it was filed, and it's Priority is P3 (Backlog,) indicating it has been triaged, the bug's Severity is being updated to S3 (normal.)

Severity: normal → S3

I have an update on this. A few weeks ago I enabled again gfx.webrender.all and had no problems since. I don't know if the system video drivers were improved or if the improvement is in Firefox. I am attaching the newest about:support info if it can help you.

Closing as it was reported to work now.
