If you view the source of this article:
https://www.yahoo.com/huffpost/nazi-zoombombing-jewish-yeshiva-university-213626401.html
And search on "this article origin"
You get two hits. The first one is correct, but the second one matches incorrectly in the document. "this article origin" is in that line, but it's earlier.
I'm guessing the \u values are throwing off the computations?

Thanks for the report Mike!
Yes, I am seeing two matches, but I don's understand what's wrong.
See my attached screenshot, the string this article origin
seems to be highlighted just fine.
What am I missing?

This is what I see for the second hit
I did a view-source: on the URL bar.
This is on Windows, Firefox 75.0.
Note the unicode values - \u003E - these seem to be throwing things off for me.

I am able to reproduce the problem in Firefox 74/75/76, but not in Nightly.
The selection offset varies in different Firefox versions for me
(perhaps the offset is wrongly calculates due to the unicode chars?)

I can reproduce the issue on Nightly77.0a1 Windows10 if "Wrap Long Lines" is disabled and certain zoom level.
And another scenario, select some text by mouse in the line. and ctrl+C.
- Highlight Background color is shifted a few pixels from the font boundary.
- Selected font color would not change to Highlight Foreground.
- Text other than the selected text is copied to the clipboard.

STR
- Open attached
- Zoom in or out (e.g. 80%)
- Find "firefox"
OR
Select text around the end of the line.

The product::component has been changed since the backlog priority was decided, so we're resetting it.
