It would be useful to expose analysis data for files directly for:
- People with tools who like the data
- Diagnosing problems with searchfox. I frequently log into the servers via SSH to see if the files exist and whether records are produced at specific lines, etc.
I have a patch from the fancy patch that I'm going to upload. Note that initially I tried to use a MIME type of "application/x-ndjson" but nothing liked this MIME type and it makes it hard to manually view the contents of the files in the browser, so I ended up just serving the files as text/plain. (Newline-delimited JSON is not legal JSON so devtools and fetch() both hate it. I filed bug 1603986 on teaching devtools to be cool with the format, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.)
