User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/80.0.3987.163 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to YouTube Creator.
- Upload button.
- Drag a 5-10GB video file to upload box.
- Speed is half of other browsers
Actual results:
The upload speed is 200Mbps compare to Chrome or Edge runs at 500Mbps (current max speed).
Expected results:
Should be same at full speed upload.
I am in progress zip the big logs generated by Firefox.
Upon more discussion over Reddit: someone mentioned QUIC which might explain why chromium able to stream data with less overhead.

Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/fv5j69/youtube_upload_speed_200mbps_in_firefox_chrome_or/
Chrome latest version (with QUIC?) 400Mbps average and probably due to the today traffic.

Junior, are the log files here helpful to figure out what's going on in bug 1627522 ?

The log is provided in bug 1627522 as well. I'd like to move the discussion to the public bug.
This is youtube upload, IMO it's not privacy-sensitive?

Makes sense. Reporter, are we missing some reason you filed this report as security-sensitive?
