Steps to reproduce:
Open Firefox on MacOS with dark theme and select the URL bar
Actual results:
URL bar shows overlapping edge highlighting that is both rectangular and rounded.
Expected results:
Either rounded or rectangular edge highlighting - I assume rounded.

I use dark theme on macOS and I don't get the glowing rectangle. Do you have any userChrome changes or OS-level accessibility toggles flipped?

Sorry about this, yes it turns out this was caused by some customisation I had forgotten about. (shadowfox)
