Details

inserted link in the body of the message to a locally stored file (pdf)
results in file being sent as an attachment.
this is not correct.
My messages are sent on a LAN to other users and I dont want to send all
the big pdf files that I have downloaded, only the links.
Netscape 7 does not suffer from this problem.

Is this really fixed somehow, or IS it a duplicate of bug 132257? If it's a
duplicate it was resolved incorrectly, and needs to be reopened so that it can
be duped. If it's really fixed, there should be some comment as to how it was
fixed - if the fix is unknown, it should be reopened and marked as WORKSFORME.
In my humble opinion it is a duplicate of bug 132257.
Furthermore at some unknown point in time this bug 132257
and its duplicate 162802 have been successfully resolved.
How I don't know and don't care.
At least no more moz-do-not-send attribute nonsense!
Reopening due to reporter's comment.

Bug 132257 is still open and being worked on.
