Hey,
I've got a strange problem with Nightly here. When trying to connect to anything Google-owned, like google.com, youtube, com or gmail.com right after I type the address in and touch enter I get the "connection has timed out" message.
That would normally suggest networking problems - except I don't have any. Here's what I tried:
- google.com, youtube.com in a brand new profile - OK
- google.com, youtube.com in Safari - OK
- google.com, youtube.com in Chrome - OK
- google.com, youtube.com in my "problematic" profile and a private window - OK
looking around, I deleted all google related cookies - didn't help.
I then deleted the cache content and restarted Nightly - google and youtube and gmail loaded.
All of them were working for one evening, and then again the same problem occurred.
I need some sort of ideas how to keep troubleshooting the problem here.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

Which version of Nightly are you on? It sounds like bug 1629090

To see if it is like bug 1629090 please try setting pref network.http.http3.enabled
to false.

network.http.http3.enabled

I just did that and purged the cache and restarted Firefox. So far so good - but let's have it running for a day, that bug did not kick up right away. I'll update this bug tomorrow about the same time (or before if it breaks again).

how's it working today?
So far so good. Disabling the http3 support, cleaning cache and restarting Nightly made all my problems go away. Other symptoms were similar to 1629090 - with parts of the google calendar interface, parts of gmail, disappearing on me, or just refusing to load at all.
I think we've got a duplicate here.
