Permissions API not available in Service Worker

People
(Reporter: mh, Unassigned)
Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/80.0.3987.149 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
- go to about:debugging
- click "This Firefox"
- pick a Service Worker (and click 'start' if it is not running)
- inspect the (now running) Service Worker
- evaluate "self.navigator.permissions" in console
Actual results:
=> undefined
Expected results:
=> Permissions { }
The expected behaviour can be observed by entering the same line into a "normal web page console". According to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/WorkerNavigator/permissions this API should be available in a ServiceWorker, too.

Thanks for filing this! This is not implemented yet, but several things were wrong with how we were tracking it:
- Bug 1193373 tracks implementing it, but was in the wrong component. I've moved it there.
- The compatibility table in MDN was wrong, I've filed https://github.com/mdn/browser-compat-data/pull/5992 to correct that.
